APOD Productions' second show in the new Viola Community Center will transform the spacious hall into a Parisian street scene set in December, 1953. They’ve attracted $16 million of federal and matching funding, created and maintained more than 650 direct and indirect jobs and generated $19 million in payroll. It has led to the treatment of 61,000 acres of forest and the harvest of 40 million board feet.”
January 2015 The Clearwater RC&D Council is presented with the “Outstanding Performance by a Council” Award by the Western RC&D Association at the annual conference in Rapid City, SD.
September 2014 The Clearwater RC&D Council is nominated for the Idaho Nonprofit Center's 2014 Nonprofit Excellence Award! The Council is honored to be one of the organizations nominated in the statewide program and will be recognized at the Nonprofit Excellence Awards Dinner on September 23 in Boise, Idaho.
July 2014 The Greater Palouse Meat Producers, a fiscally sponsored project of the Council, is awarded $15,000 from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Business Enterprise Grant (RBEG) program to begin the planning and design phase for a USDA inspected meat facility.
