Position Summary: The Clearwater Resource Conservation and Development Council, Inc. on behalf of the Clearwater Basin Collaborative project, is seeking two qualified Crew Leaders for the Orofino and Grangeville Clearwater Basin Youth Conservation Corps (CBYCC) crews. This 8-week paid program will expose youth ages 16 to 18 to natural resource career opportunities while working alongside natural resource specialists. Each CBYCC crew consists of 5 youth plus a crew leader.

Compensation and Work Schedule: Compensation will be $16-20 per hour (DOE). The official start date for crew leaders will be June 5, 2017, although a minor amount of training may occur prior to the start date. The last day of the season will be August 4, 2017. Approximately 2 additional days may be required for reporting and cleanup purposes immediately following the program’s end date. Hours will be from 6:00 am to approximately 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, although this may vary depending on project work and/or unexpected circumstances. Additional hours may be necessary on Fridays in order to prepare for the following weeks activities.
